Maya has worked with youth as an outdoor educator, summer camp counselor, mentor, nanny, instructor, and teacher. She has experience hiking, biking, and skiing with children, as well as tradional experience teaching children in the classroom. While living in Summit County, she worked at Keystone Science School and now works at Silverthorne Elementary School. She is also going back to school at Colorado Mountain College in order to earn her teaching license in Primary School Education. She currently holds a BA in Environmental Studies and Writing. She loves working with children of all ages and always prioritizing getting kids outside or learning something new!
