My name is Kimberly Seim, but my friends and family call me Kimberlina. I am an elementary and early childhood teacher turned snowboarding nanny in these strange times we are in. I have been working with kids and snowboarding since I was 17. I have taught toddlers, preschool, Kindergarten, 4th, and 5th grades. I have subbed and babysat from premature newborns to teenagers. I am currently CPR and 1st aide certified. I hold a current CO Elementary teaching license and degrees from UW Madison in Psychology and Early to Middle Childhood (teaching birth-age 11). I have been living in Summit County for the past six years and am familiar with the area, mountain, parks, trails, and family friendly activities. However, I would be willing to relocate for the perfect fit family. I have been called a “walking talking Sesame Street character” by one family I care for because I try and take advantage of every learning opportunity I can through play. I often bring my own materials and projects for the day creating activities that are developmentally appropriate and based on each child’s interests. I incorporate songs, books, dance, art, and nature into every day. I give your child my full undivided attention while I care for them and have been deemed more than one child’s “best friend”.
